John Crawford makes himself available to the flow and force of creative expression. His paintings are inspired from living on the ocean in Northern California. He began drawing at a very young age, then turned his art to building and designing. His concerns were with color, texture, form and marrying disparate materials, old and new. He reconnected to the canvas, brush and paint in 2002 and currently paints or draws everyday, usually beginning at sunrise. Crawford's paintings are thought provoking, creative and nature based original acrylic on canvas.
